22nd - 23rd February 2009, Sunday & Monday – SKSWood’s management team came together for the first of a series of HSE inductions for 2009.

The induction in Miri took place at the Grand Palace Hotel, with over 170 personnel present for the 2 day event. The induction was extended to all existing offshore crew from the previous year’s campaign, which includes supervisors, leadmen, riggers, markers, painters and blasters. Among some of the organizers in attendance were Don Ballantyne (Managing Director), Marjory Toidy (Human Resources Manager), Prabakar Kumar (HSE Manager), Langup Meripa (HSE Officer) and Firdaus Abdullah (Offshore HSE Officer).

Topics touched on were the ‘Cash Incentive’ scheme, where stress was put on the importance of quality and standard of performance, which inevitably contribute to the contractual KPIs.

The HSE induction in Kuala Belait took place at the Seri Kandi restaurant on various occasions, with Gary Tassell (SKSW General Manager), Hernando Caceres (SKSW Commercial / Business Assurance Manager), Haji Aji Hj Hitam (BSP SCO) and Tonya WIlliams (Contract Holder, SCO/5) joining in the proceedings.
