2nd April 2009, Thursday - The first quarter of HSE Subcontractors Forum was hosted by SKSWood. SKSWood's management team and heads of departments were present along with representatives from SKS MCY Contract, SKS E&I Contract, SKS Scaffolding, PTAS NDT Services, MKJ Manpower Supply, Lilyani Manpower Supply and Wood Group Manpower Supply.
The HSE Management addressed the following objectives:
• To maintain and continually improve HSE leadership and commitment.
• To improve communication with front line team
• To achieve KPI results by proactive actions
Group discussions were st up with teams exploring issues such as Wood Group HSE Plan 2009 "Front Line Focus", improving audit score, HSE Deep Dive audit, level and role of subcontractor involvement in HSE.
The discussions helped to identify problem areas and their potential solutions, which is important in its contribution towards the overall KPI results.
Ending the forum, participants pledged their commitments toward the HSE practices with the signing of the "Core Belief Charter" for "Proactive Intervention" and the HSE Plan and HSE targets signed with subcontractors.
