HSE is and should always be the number one priority whenever carrying out any works, for the safety of not only the one conducting the works, but also the safety of those involved and providing reassurance to loved ones waiting at home every day.
Marjory Toidy spoke of the 3 months probationary period, which should not be viewed with short-sightedness. Instead as a significant opportunity to prove one’s abilities and show progress. One should not stop the journey of self-improvement once they have passed the probationary period – it is a continuous non-stop growth, benefiting the company and ultimately the self.
Hernando Caceres highlighted the importance of this whole employment opportunity: that it is for the benefit of the country, view of growing the local workforce to sustain the local market - to strengthen the idea and workings of Bruneianisation.
The ceremony came to a close with the panel of candidates officiating their employment with the signing of their contracts and a small celebratory feast.
