22nd April 2009, Wednesday –The concept of town hall, originated from the English, is to hold an informal public meet where the community is invited to attend, voice their opinions, and hear the responses from the elected officials.
This is the first town hall meeting ever organized. This open-discussion event is scheduled to be held every quarter. The meeting was headed by Gary Tassell (General Manager) and Hernando Caceres (Commercial / Delivery Assurance Manager), with the support of the management staff. This was an important opportunity for both the management and all levels of personnel to communicate openly about any doubts or questions as the meeting came about after the company went through major organizational restructuring.
A variety of issues were raised, from changes affected by organisation restructuring, staff handbook is to be issued both in English and Malay for the understanding of the majority. Topics touched on: financial issues to work hours to employee rights and a general update of where the company was in terms of the KPI meter. Other highlights and achievements include:

• 126 PAKATs received in March 09 alone, making it the highest PAKAT contribution ever.
• Materials department significant improvement.
• Iron Duke IDCX010903 (workpacking, planning, jobcarding phases) are ahead of schedule
• invoicing is more accurate and on time
