Qualifications
• Completed an engineering apprenticeship, (mechanical preferred) have a minimum qualification of Technician Level certificate.
• 10 years experience in the construction industry of which 7 years in the oil and gas industry including 5 years in a supervisory capacity in an offshore environment. With an awareness of the requirements of the hazardous area classification.
• Must be able to read and understand drawing and specification and be fully familiar with all piping fittings and components including piping materials and pressure classification. And must be conversant with oil fiend and construction terminology.
• Has a good appreciation of all relative International Standards and Codes of Practice in addition to COMPANY specification.
• Should be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.
• Preferably Brunei Citizen or Brunei Resident.

• Good man-management skills particularly with regard to Brunei Citizens.
• The candidate must have at least 5 years experience in a similar environment holding the position of Construction Superintendent.
• A holder of an engineering certification from a tertiary institute such as Final City & guild or equivalent.

Rigger Foreman

Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years rigging experience of which 6 years have been spent in a supervisory capacity on offshore and onshore locations. Must have a current certificate of fire fighting training.
• Must be aware of working of the most types of equipment used in construction work and be familiar with safe working loads, care, proper storage, of equipment and training of all other riggers on board to do likewise.
• Must be able to use hot cutting gear wherever necessary.
• Must be able to splice an eye on a manila and synthetic fibre and wire rope, and be fully competent with all knots, bends and hitches.
• Must know the correct way to attach bulldog clips or any other common wire rope fittings and ensuring that this practice is adhered to all items by all riggers.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.
• Preferably Brunei Citizen or Brunei Resident. |

• Must have served a recognized apprenticeship training plus senior technician level qualification.
• A minimum of 15 years experience and at least 10 years offshore construction experience of which 8 years in a supervisory role.
• Must have a good knowledge on international construction and safety codes with familiarization of hazardous high fire risk situations.
• Have a sound knowledge of international and COMPANY standard specifications and welding procedures. Knowledge of welding techniques and procedures, and the wide range of pipe materials being used is required.
• Must be able to interpret drawings and specifications and translate them into understandable terms. Training subordinates in this respect is a major part of the training role of his tasks.

Welder

Qualifications
• Apprenticeship trained up to tradesman level certification
• Minimum of 5 years have been spent offshore. He will be required to pass all welders test as identified by the COMPANY Welding Specification 61.6 and DEP 61.40.20.30 irrespective of being previously qualified.
• Must be competent, efficient and experience in welding and cutting techniques and be familiar with all relevant procedures essential to their application under field or offshore interpret drawings or sketches.
• Must be completely trustworthy to do his utmost and best work at all times, and shall be familiar with all relevant safety procedures offshore particularly on safety aspects when working on “live” platforms.
• Preferably Brunei Citizen or Brunei Resident with at least one year offshore experience and be fully responsible for having on board a toolbox containing all “tools of his trade” required for the work, and for keeping the set replenished.
